The siberia.eu product range features light-colored portion pouches from various brands side by side. From the outside, many cans look similar, but the contents are not. There are three product types: chewing tobacco with tobacco, tobacco-free nicotine pouches and pouches entirely without nicotine. This article shows which brand belongs where and how you can tell the type.
Why the distinction matters
Chewing tobacco and tobacco-free nicotine pouches are offered in a similar way, but they are different products. They are subject to different regulations and carry different warnings. For you as a customer, one thing matters most: the color of the pouch tells you nothing about its contents. A white pouch can contain tobacco, and a tobacco-free pouch can have a high nicotine concentration.

Chewing tobacco: Siberia, Pablo, Skruf, VID and Oden's
With these five brands, there is tobacco in the pouch. The tobacco is filled into portions, and the pouches are light-colored for all five. That is why it pays not to go by appearance, but by the information on the can or in the product description. For these brands, it says “contains tobacco” or “tobacco-based”.
- Siberia in the Red, Blue and Black lines. Blue has 24 mg nicotine per gram, Red and Black 43.
- Pablo Ice Cold 3.0 as Gold and as Superslim, each with 33 mg per gram.
- Skruf in the levels #2 Medium, #3 Strong and #4 Xtra with 7, 14 and 16 mg per gram.
- VID as Medium with 12 mg per pouch and as Strong with 20 mg per pouch, each in White Slim format and in several flavors.
- Oden's Cold Extreme White Dry with 22 mg per gram, as Regular and as Slim.
You can find all chewing tobacco products together in the collection Chewing tobacco.
Tobacco-free nicotine pouches: Cuba, Iceberg and Garant
With Cuba, Iceberg and Garant, the pouch contains no tobacco. Instead, it contains plant fibers as a carrier material, nicotine and flavoring. “Tobacco-free” explicitly does not mean “nicotine-free”, nor does it mean “weaker”:
- Cuba Black #6 is at 66 mg per gram, 20 pouches per can, Slim format, in several fruit flavors and mint.
- Iceberg Extreme in Menthol and Ice Mint is at 43 mg per gram, 20 pouches per can, Slim format.
- Garant White Extreme is at 50 mg per gram, mint flavor.
The figures show that some tobacco-free pouches in the product range have a higher concentration than the chewing tobacco products. The collection Nicotine pouches brings this product type together.
Nicotine-free: W1NNAS
W1NNAS is the only brand in the shop that contains neither tobacco nor nicotine. Instead, the Energy varieties contain caffeine, and the Sleep variety contains melatonin. Available are Energy in Cola, Cherry and Mint, and Sleep in Mango, according to the product information with 13 pouches per can. The products are grouped under Energy Pouches.
How to tell the type when shopping
- Read the product description: Every product states whether it contains tobacco.
- Don't go by the pouch color: White or light-colored pouches exist for both chewing tobacco and nicotine pouches.
- Don't go by the name: Additions such as “Extreme” or “Ice” say nothing about the product type.
- Check the can: The labeling on the delivered can, including the warning, is what counts.
Mixed packages
Some bundles in the shop combine both product types, such as the Frost Mix Bundle with Skruf Xtra, Iceberg Menthol and Siberia Red, or the Mix Bundle with Pablo Gold, Garant Extreme and Skruf Xtra. Such packages contain chewing tobacco and tobacco-free nicotine pouches side by side. The classification of each individual can follows the table above.
