Slim, Mini, Regular or 500 g box: the Siberia formats explained

Siberia -80° White Dry 500-g-Box Slim

With Siberia, you choose not only the line but also the format. On the product pages of siberia.eu you will find terms such as Slim, Mini and Regular, and for Red also two fill weights and a 500 g box. Here you can learn what is behind these names and which format is available in which line.

What a format determines at Siberia

The format describes the size and cut of the portion pouch. Within a line, the recipe stays the same: flavor, pouch type and nicotine per gram do not change when you switch from Slim to Regular. What changes is the amount of tobacco in a single pouch and therefore also the amount of nicotine per portion.

That sounds like a small detail, but it is the most common reason for misunderstandings: two cans with the same mg/g figure can differ per pouch, because the pouches are different sizes.

The three pouch sizes

Mini

Mini is the smallest pouch in the Siberia product range. It contains the least tobacco per portion. In the shop, Mini is available for Red and for Black.

Slim

Slim is cut narrower and longer than Regular. Slim is the format found in all three lines: Red Slim, Blue Slim and Black Slim. If you want to compare the lines with each other, Slim therefore gives you the simplest basis.

Regular

Regular is the largest pouch. It contains the most tobacco per portion. Regular is available for Blue and for Red. For Red there are two variants to choose from, which differ in name by the fill weight of the can: Regular 13 g and Regular 16 g. You can find an overview of all Regular products under Format Regular.

Which line in which format

Format Red (43 mg/g) Blue (24 mg/g) Black (43 mg/g)
Mini yes not listed yes
Slim yes yes yes
Regular 13 g and 16 g yes not listed
500 g box Slim and Regular not listed not listed

“Not listed” means: this combination is currently not set up in the shop. Whether an individual variant is currently in stock is shown on the product page.

The 500 g box

The 500 g box is the bulk pack in the Siberia product range. It belongs to the Red line, and the pouches are of the White Dry type. For the box, you choose between Slim and Regular, i.e. between the two pouch sizes you also know from the single cans.

The box is aimed at anyone who orders a larger quantity of the same variety at once. How the contents are divided up in detail is described on the product page. Because a large quantity is also kept for longer, it is worth looking at the storage instructions on the packaging.

Format or line first?

A simple order helps:

  • First the line: It determines flavor, pouch type and the concentration in mg/g. Red and Black are at 43 mg/g, Blue at 24 mg/g.
  • Then the format: It determines how much tobacco is in a single pouch. Mini contains the least, Regular the most.
  • Finally the quantity: a single can, several cans with a volume discount, or the 500 g box.

If you want to compare two formats of the same line, you can use the Red Trio with 10 cans each of Slim, Mini and Regular. If you would rather compare the lines in the same format, take the Slim Trio with Red, Blue and Black.

A word on nicotine per pouch

Siberia states the concentration per gram. A figure in milligrams per pouch is not shown on the Siberia product pages, because it depends on the weight of the individual pouch. Only the direction is clear: at the same concentration, a larger pouch contains more nicotine than a smaller one. More on reading the figures can be found in our article on nicotine information.

In brief

  • The format changes the pouch size, not the recipe of a line.
  • Mini is the smallest pouch, Regular the largest, and Slim sits in between, narrow and long.
  • Slim is available in all three lines, the 500 g box only for Red.
  • The same mg/g does not mean the same amount per pouch.
