Siberia Red, Blue and Black: the three lines compared

Siberia -80° White Blue Slim

Anyone looking for Siberia at siberia.eu quickly comes across three colors: Red, Blue and Black. Behind the colors are three separate lines that differ in flavor, pouch type and nicotine concentration. This overview puts the lines side by side so you can see the differences at a glance before clicking through the individual product pages.

What all three lines have in common

All three lines carry the name suffix “-80°” and belong to the same family. They have the following in common:

  • Product type: Siberia is chewing tobacco; the pouch contains tobacco. So these are not tobacco-free nicotine pouches, even though the pouches are light-colored.
  • Portions: The tobacco is filled into portion pouches, approx. 20 per can.
  • Base flavor: Two of the three lines rely on mint, the third on a tobacco-forward profile.

So the difference lies not in the type of product but in three variables: flavor, pouch and concentration.

The lines in direct comparison

Line Flavor Pouch Nicotine Formats in the shop
Red cool mint White Dry 43 mg/g Slim, Mini, Regular 13 g, Regular 16 g, 500 g box
Blue clear mint White 24 mg/g Slim, Regular
Black tobacco-forward, no mint White Dry 43 mg/g Slim, Mini

The values in the table come from the product information in the shop. The information on the can you receive is binding.

Red: the widest selection

Siberia Red is the line with the most versions. The flavor is a cool mint, and the pouches are of the White Dry type, i.e. particularly dry on the outside. The concentration is 43 mg of nicotine per gram of pouch content.

With Red, you can choose between several pouch sizes: Slim, Mini as well as Regular in two fill weights, 13 g and 16 g. There is also the 500 g box, which also belongs to the Red line. In addition, the shop carries a version called Red Softpack as Slim and Regular; details can be found on the respective product page.

Blue: different concentration, different pouch

Blue differs from Red in two respects. First, at 24 mg per gram, the concentration is significantly lower than in the other two lines. Second, Blue comes in a pouch of the White type, which is somewhat moister than White Dry. The flavor is also mint, described as clear.

Blue is available as Slim and as Regular. A Mini variant is currently not listed in the shop.

Important for the comparison: if you put Blue and Red side by side, you are comparing not just two flavors but also two concentrations. The statement that all Siberia varieties are equally strong does not apply to the product range at siberia.eu.

Black: no mint

Black is the line for anyone who does not want a mint flavor. The profile is described as robust and tobacco-forward. Pouch and concentration are the same as Red: White Dry and 43 mg per gram. In terms of the numbers alone, Red and Black are therefore the same; they differ in flavor.

The shop carries Black as Slim and as Mini. A Regular version is currently not listed.

White and White Dry: what the pouch type means

The names White and White Dry describe the texture of the pouch, not the product type. Both types are light-colored. White Dry is drier on the outside, White somewhat moister. With Siberia, a light-colored pouch does not mean the contents are tobacco-free: all three lines contain tobacco.
